Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall
Shenyang Xinle Site Museum is a relic-type museum with the theme of Xinle cultural connotation. The museum was established in 1984. The exhibition area is about 2,000 square meters. It exhibits 376 unearthed cultural relics of the three cultural types of the Xinle Upper Culture, the Pianpuzi Culture and the Xinle Lower Culture that are superimposed in the site area. . The upper-class culture of Xinle is mainly represented by polished stoneware and plain pottery such as 鬲 and 甗. It is about 3,000 to 4,000 years ago. The Pianpuzi culture is a late Neolithic archeological culture following the lower-level culture of Xinle. It is mainly represented by polished stone axes, fine stone tools, and pottery pots, pots and bowls with piled patterns. It is 5,000 years ago. Xinle’s lower-level culture is mainly represented by stone-made tools, polished stone tools, fine stone tools, refined coal products, and deep-belly pots with the “Zhi” pattern as its main representatives. It is about 7,000 years ago. The content of the upper-level cultural display of Xinle is composed of four parts: site distribution, settlement patterns, tomb customs, and cultural relics. The content of the lower-level cultural display of Xinle is composed of the beginning of civilization, sunrise, fishing and hunting, totem worship, cultural mystery, etc. composition. In the form of the exhibition, multimedia imaging technologies such as phantom imaging, virtual interaction, and auxiliary scene display are used to fully interpret the great achievements created by the production, life, and spiritual and cultural life of the Xinle ancestors.
