　　2014 marks the 41st anniversary of the discovery of the Xinle Site and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Shenyang Xinle Site Museum. In order to promote and pass on history and culture, and to commemorate the arrival of the 9th Cultural Heritage Day in my country, Shenyang Xinle Site Museum focused on the theme of "Let the Cultural Heritage Live" and launched the "Commemorative 2014 Cultural Heritage Day and Shenyang Publicity activities such as the opening ceremony of the new basic display of the Xinle Ruins Museum and the Xinle Cultural Academic Seminar.

　　 Xinle Site was discovered in 1973. After several archaeological excavations, it was determined to be a settlement site in the Neolithic Age, and it was the earliest relic of human life discovered in Shenyang at that time. The discovery of the Xinle site has advanced the history of human activities in Shenyang to seven thousand years ago. The type of culture it represents is academically defined as "Xinle Culture". In 2001, the Xinle Site was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit. In 1984, the Xinle Site Museum was officially opened to the public. After 30 years of development and construction, Shenyang Xinle Site Museum has become a national secondary museum, a national AAA-level tourist attraction, a patriotic education base in Liaoning Province and Shenyang City. Currently, the museum covers an area of 22,500 square meters, with a cultural relics exhibition hall and a ruins exhibition area. The cultural relics exhibition hall has an exhibition area of 1,000 square meters and displays 231 cultural relics.

The new basic display of this refurbishment incorporates the unique cultural elements of the Xinle site in form, highlighting the fusion, uniqueness and mystery of Xinle culture, with deep and steady colors, smooth and reasonable exhibition lines, and the addition of 3D projections. Interactive, three-dimensional relief wall, oil painting animation and other participatory and artistic display methods. In terms of content, it is divided into the units of sunrise, fishing and hunting, living by the river, concrete making tools, Luan and phoenix singing and dancing, ancient costumes, mystery, the voice of the soul, and the mystery of the new music culture, which are comprehensive from different perspectives Show the living conditions of Shenyang ancestors in the middle of the new era.

　　 In order to further promote the academic research of Xinle culture, Shenyang Xinle Site Museum and the Prehistoric Site Professional Committee of the Chinese Museum Association jointly organized a seminar on Xinle culture. Many domestic experts in archaeology, museology and other related research fields, especially those who have strong feelings and in-depth research on Xinle culture, will work together to focus on the management, protection, research, utilization and sustainability of museums of prehistoric sites.
